“The latest name being circulated as a possible replacement for Westchester GOP Chairwoman RoseMarie Panio is a familiar one to those involved in county politics Republican strategist/commentator Mike Edelman.

Yonkers GOP Chairman Zehy Jereis confirmed today that Edelman is among those being considered for the job of leading Westchester’s Republican Committee, though he stressed it’s still early in the process.

“Mike Edelman has been very critical of the Republican Party over the past years, maybe he can come in and tell us what we are doing wrong,” Jereis said.

Edelman, in a telephone interview today, confirmed that he has been contacted by Republican officials about his interest in becoming chairman and said he would accept the post if it was offered to him. However, he said he is not campaigning for the job.”

But again, the Consultant has nothing to do with Westchester GOP politics. The GOP reached out to him because he is just an everyday citizen who has nothing to do with politics.

The way I see it, there’s a serious disconnect with the GOP party line and their actions. They’ve gotta get back to being more like the GOP of Eisenhower’s time, or even more like Nixon’s era (without unnecessary wars and the paranoid lying.)

As such, one can infer that you are talking about her candidacy for AG, the office which she actually ran for and lost by a huge margin. If you wanted to, you could have added the modifier that she was a bad candidate for Senate but you chose not to specify. You said she was a bad Senate candidate only after problems came out. There is a record of your statements. To think that none of her husband’s problems would have come out if she ran only for AG is naive at best.

My argument regarding third parties makes perfect sense. You just choose to intentionally ignore it so you can unfairly blame others for what you and your friends have done to the Westchester GOP.

My solution is not ridiculous. My solution was that if Republicans want to nominate someone that Conservatives reject in the primary, they should do so. You obviously misunderstodd it had nothing to do with politicians rejecting cross endorsements. Let’s see if you can follow this, the Conservative Party wants Faso and the Republican Party wants Weld, the Republican Party gives the nomination to Weld instead of Faso. Faso, most likely does not actively run as he no he has no chance of winning. The Conservative Party does not get enough on the party line and they lose their ballot spot. That is so ridiculous that it happened to the liberal party with Andrew Cuomo. No one has veto power over the Republican primary. Your argument is a red herring designed to detract from your own and your own allies personal political failings.

Yes, but you claimed she was a great candidate for Attorney General, which is far different from you said today, which is that she was a terrible candidate. Moreover, you have consistently promoted her at every chance you get. You mainly criticized her as a Senate candidate after and not before she had a series of mishaps. You are great after the fact. You have an entire article dedicated to what a great AG candidate she would have been. It is public record. I guess you are embarrassed and took that down from your website along with the great piece about how campaign finance reform was going to save our democracy.

Oh, if prosecutors are apolitical so are judges. Bragging about electing Republican judges by your standard is nothing to brag about. After all, there is no Republican or Democratic way to judge a case going by your logic:-)
