Paterson, Schumer Team Up To Limit Garbage Trucks On Upstate Roads

Gov. David Paterson is hitting some upstate counties today and is touring with Sen. Charles Schumer.
There first stop was Skaneateles in the Finger Lakes, where the pair announced that the state Department of Transportation will develop new policies to keep large trucks off local roads in central New York.

They said that the countryside is being marred by trucks carrying garbage use local roads to avoid tolls and use shortcuts.
At 1 p.m. the pair is holding a town-hall meeting in Batavia.

Al D’Amato was Senator Pothole. Now we have Upchuck Schumer as Senator Garbage. How appropriate.
