A departure at the Board of Legislators

May

Could there be trouble percolating behind the scenes at the Westchester Board of Legislators?

Well, it’s a question worth asking after word came today that Alicia Maxey Greene, a former Journal News reporter and a “communications specialist” at the board has abruptly resigned. She was hired only a few months ago to help with the board’s press operation.

“I resigned from the County Board and gave two weeks notice. My last day is Friday. I have no further comment,” Maxey said in an e-mail.

The don’t need communications specialists, since what they have to communicate is ultimately spurious. What they need are PR specialists. They probably just thought of that.

Another job to hand out for Pig Ryan.
