Endorsements in the 19th CD

With just over a week to go before Republicans in the 19th Congressional District gather at a special nominating convention, Peekskill’s Kieran Michael Lalor this morning announced support from two Orange County GOP committees.

The Republican town committees in Monroe and Port Jervis have voted to back Lalor, an Iraq War veteran, according to a press release from Lalor’s campaign.

“Orange County is going to play a decisive role in this election and the Republican candidate needs to work hard to earn its votes,” Lalor said in the release.

Lalor and Westchester Legislator George Oros,  a Cortlandt Republican, are the only announced candidates seeking the GOP nomination to challenge Rep. John Hall in November.
