Putnam County legislators want residents, caregivers, doctors and others to tell them how the lack of health care coverage or inadequate insurance affect them and the community.
To find out, they plan two public hearings.
The first is Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Bureau of Emergency Services on the Donald B. Smith campus, 112 Old Route 6 in Carmel.
On June 14, there will be a second hearing at Putnam Valley High School from 10 a.m. to noon.
For more information call the Putnam County Legislature at 845 225-8690.
