you were right…he was too liberal for the party
so does that mean your full support is behind john McCain
and even though the state party is not only broke
but completley bankrupt..they recognize that to win
in new york they have to present a far more moderate
image..I have it on good authority …the conservative
party will no longer call the shots on nominations..
if they don’t like the republican choices they can
stay home, run their own candidates and risk getting
less than 50,000 or cross endorse

The explanation is that it was a joke. ed..if he wasn’t playing match play but low net..and totaling his score as a net score a zero would have been
fine..lots of stories about how donald likes to cheat
but putting a zero down is too obvious…kicking the
ball would be a little better or not counting a few
strokes..so there must be some explanation for the zero

In match play, If you get a hole-in-one, you don’t put down zero on your scorecard if you are getting a stroke-a-hole, unless, of course, your opponent also gets a hole-in-one at the same hole, the same time the two of are playing the same hole, a happenstance probably never recorded in the history of match play. What I proffered was a joke. It’s no wonder people are at each other’s throats on this blog. Even a rudimentary sense of humor around here is more scarce even than an ace.

that is because his handicapp was probably 18..which

and actually i did play golf today with my son who keeps
kicking my butt on the course now that he drives 285
of course I am still great on the short game..unfortunately
since i have been diagnosed with a debilitating disease
called psoriatic arthritis..playing is now a lot tougher
but thats what happens when you get old…the other
thing that happens is that you get less rigid in your
views..so that if I conclude that John McCain at 72 is
in as much pain as I am…and that he is intrangient on
foreign policy questions that I deem important you
never can tell what I will do in the voting both
so far he has my vote..but..

I haven’t accused zhey jeries of anything…but I did
call for him to resign from the leadership of the party
but you continued to work for him…taking orders from
a guy who should never have been chairman..too much
baggage…everyone knew it..but you justified it
because he was a “hard worker”...still want to hitch
your star to zhey…afterall it was you and his
committee who put “faso over the top” ....that

and as for Rudy…his position on Iran is kind of

obliteration…if they got nuclear weapons…

WASHINGTON (CNN) — At the start of the Republican presidential debate, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was unwavering in his support for the United States’ original decision to go to war with Iraq.

“Absolutely the right thing to do,” Giuliani said. “It’s unthinkable to leave Saddam Hussein in charge of Iraq and be able to fight the war on terror. And the problem is that we see Iraq in a vacuum. Iraq should not be seen in a vacuum. It is part of terrorist war against the United States.”

Giuliani also took a jab at Democrats, saying they need to take the threat of Iran more seriously.

“The danger to us is a state like Iran handing nuclear weapons over to terrorists,” he said. “So it has to be seen in that light and we have to be successful in Iraq.”

but you seem to want to justify his conservatism based

you can’t mitigate by talking about partial abortion
Rudy is for gun control..you can’t mitigate that
by making constitutional arguments about the first
amendment..rudy is for gay rights…those three
issues made him unacceptable to national conservatives

Hagel, is also pro-life, pro-guns, and has a thousand other positions that the Consultant is against. I did not give my positions. Nice try. I gave Rudy’s. Rudy is pro-choice but believes in the partial-birth abortion ban. Something you do not and the vast majority of Americans do. Rudy, believes in some gun control but unlike you and the small minority of Americans does not believe that the 2nd Amendment is a collective right.

As for cutting taxes in a war, last time I checked you were not an economist. I will go with Martin Feldstein and the late Milton Friedman over you or McCain any day of the week.

You are against the war now. That just makes you a frontrunner. You sang a different tune in 2002.

Let’s see: Rudy is the most hawkish Republican out there, he supports the war in Iraq, he supports supply-side economics, and believes in the second amendment. He is pretty conservative. You on the other hand, are against all individual gun-rights, against partial-birth abortion bans, against the war in Iraq, and against the Bush tax cuts.

Rudy is a moderate-conservative. You are not.
