Lowey, would have lost to Lazio or Giuliani. She headed up the DCCC in 2002 as a reward for dropping out in 2000 and in what was supposed to be a great year for Democrats and she lost big time. She was on Meet the Press supporting Hillary a few months ago and she was a terrible surrogate. If the Republicans run a strong candidate they should be able to at least make the seat competitive.
