Paterson Feeling Fine

May
21

Here’s today’s medical updapatersonpodium.jpgte on Gov. David Paterson, who had eye surgery yesterday for glaucoma: He’s doing fine.

“The governor is feeling very well,” said spokeswoman Risa Heller. “He’s resting comfortably at home.”

But Heller said Paterson continues to work at home, signing bills and vetoing one today in regards to civil practice laws. He doesn’t plan to have a public schedule, though, for a few more days.

Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno—the state’s second in command—said today that he spoke with Paterson.

“I had a good conversation,” he said. “He sounds very strong. He’s looking forward to getting back on duty.”
