Rallying behind Stewart-Cousins

May
21

State Senate Democratic Leader Malcolm A. Smith is headed to Yonkers tomorrow morning for a press conference to condemn a spate of violent incidents — including bullets being fired through windows — at the district offices of Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins.

Yonkers police confirm they are investigating the incidents, which began in early April when Stewart-Cousins office on East Grassy Sprain Road was ransacked.

Allyson Felix, a spokeswoman for Stewart-Cousins, also told The Journal News’ Joe Spector that a bullet shattered the glass of the second-floor office in mid-April while a staffer was sitting nearby. Another bullet hole was found on April 30, in a different window.

Smith’s press conference will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the East Grassy Sprain Road office. According to a press advisory, he will call for the public to come forward with any information that might help police make an arrest.

Sounds like Nick Spano’s been busy! (Just kidding!)

Sounds like Cousins’ staff is full of it. The JN’s own website is now reporting it was rocks or pellets, not bullets. That’s from the Yonkers PD. And that also is a serious credibility problem for Cousins.

any credible republican candidate should be able to
beat her..she has done nothing and can do nothing
as a member of the senate minority…people in yonkers
now understand that having a member of the majority saves
them money…thats the case that has to be made
