Paterson Live Now

May
22

Gov. David Paterson is doing his first post-eye surgery interview now on WAMC’s Vox Pop with Alan Chartock in Albany.

Paterson has already talked some about the pain he had in one of his eyes from glaucoma, saying it was the worst pain he has ever felt, but had thought it was initially pain from reading too much.

Yet as the pain worsened earlier this week, he went to the hospital and got the surgery. He has another surgery planned tomorrow.

He’s taking questions from the public, too. You can listen here.

He’s on from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
