Clinton spending last primary night in Manhattan

June
2

Hillary Rodham Clinton plans to observe the end of the Democratic presidential primaries with a Tuesday night rally at Bernard Baruch College in Manhattan.

Barack Obama also will not be in Montana or South Dakota—the last two states to vote—when the polls close Tuesday evening.

Obama has a rally scheduled in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Twins Cities will be the site of the Republican National Convention the first week of September.

The Obama campaign announced this morning that he has been endorsed by Connecticut Democratic State Party Chairwoman Nancy DiNardo and Virginia superdelegate Jerome Wiley Segovia.

Segovia’s endorsed puts Obama within 45 of the 2,118 delegates needed to clinch the nomination. The 2,118 figure takes into account the half votes awarded to the Michigan and Florida delegations by the Democratic National Committee’s rules and bylaws panel over the weekend.
