Heat stress warning – and it’s not about the Westchester legislature!

Posted by: Glenn Blain - Posted in Andrew Spano, Uncategorized, Westchester County on Jun 06, 2008

How do you know it’s summer?

Well a sure sign came this morning with the first “Heat Stress Warning” from Westchester County Executive Andrew Spano’s administration.

“To avoid heat stress, try to spend as much time as you can in pleasant surroundings – a cool room in your home, an air-conditioned mall, a senior citizen center, the public library or a movie theater,” says the press release from the county health department.

“Fans can also provide good indoor circulation, and cool baths or showers offer excellent relief from the heat.” The release also urges residents to: “Wear loose-fitting, lightweight clothing; drink lots of water and avoid hot foods, heavy meals and alcohol.”

    Also: “Let them eat cake.”

The civic administration of Andrew Spano and his feeble enabler Bill Ryan is the most corrupt in American history since that of Richard J. Daley’s Chicago 40 years ago. Perhaps Spano and Ryan will be compared to Newark’s fine past leaders by the time prosecutors are finished with them.

These men have no character, as shown by their appointments. They do not deserve the public trust.

Chicago, Newark, Detroit. . .Westchester, soon enough.

Mr. Spano is one of the most sincere and honest elected oficials I have ever met.

    RJ:

If you are Mr. Spano’s mother, your cloaked comment will be admitted.

Otherwise, RJ, you are a closeted cowardly homosexual for using an assumed identity.

    And by the way: “oFFicials.”
