Obama to staff 50 states

June
9

Barack Obama’s presidential campaign announced this afternoon it will have staff in all 50 states.

“The network of volunteers and the infrastructure built up during the historic primary season—on behalf of all the Democratic campaigns—have given us an enormous and unprecedented opportunity in the general election,’’ Obama’s deputy campaign manager, Steve Hildebrand, wrote in an email soliciting donations.

Hildebrand pointed out in his email that John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee, has a three month head start.
