Pirro’s day in court

June
9

Former District Attorney Jeanine Pirro returned to the Westchester County Courthouse this morning, but not to serve as a prosecutor or even an attorney. She’s got jury duty.

According to reporter Rob Ryser, Pirro hugged security guards and staffers as she headed toward the jurors room.

“Do you think they’ll pick me?” she asked one acquaintance.

clearly jeanine is a celebrity…why else would the press
corps cover an appearance as a juror…just doing
her civic duty…..too bad I am not trying a case this week!!!

“Dog the Bounty Hunter” is a “celebrity” too. I put him in the same class as the Pirros.

Pardon me the cynicism, but isn’t this the perfect highly publicized, convenient segway into the TV show? She could not have planned it better even if she made a couple phone calls to get herself called to jury in which, of course, she will never sit. Funny that photogs and press showed up. Almost seems that they were alerted to cover the “concidence.” Clearly Jeanine is a celebrity as the consultant opines. Celebrities need publicity in order to continue to celebrate and be celebrated.
