Remember When She Was Just A NY Senator?

Posted by: Joseph Spector - Posted in Uncategorized on Jun 09, 2008

After bowing out of the presidential race, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is back to just serving her constituents in New York.

She and senior Sen. Charles Schumer put out a press release today that they wrote a letter to Social Security Administration (SSA) Commissioner Michael Astrue over delays in western New York for people getting disability cases being heard.

They said some improvements have been made, such as adding more staffers to the Rochester office, but that more work needs to be done.

“I appreciate the steps that SSA has announced to address the backlogs in western New York and hearing offices across the state, but it remains unclear how much of an impact these measures will have on the backlogs,” Clinton said in a press release.

One Response to “Remember When She Was Just A NY Senator?”

  1. Wahoo

To answer that headline: NO. When was she ever “just a New York Senator?” Her bag was packed before she even flew her broom into New York. She should have run in Illinois, her former home state. If she had, maybe Obama wouldn’t have made it to the US Senate, let alone to where he is now.

    Kismet, Hillary. Kismet. Karma.
