McCain’s solo New York stop

June
13

Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., continues to needle Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, about Obama’s failure – to date – to accept McCain’s offer of 10 joint town hall meetings.

“This town hall meeting probably would have been a little more interesting tonight if Senator Obama had accepted my request,” McCain said as he began a solo town hall meeting last night in New York City, according to media reports. Obama has suggested that 10 is too many for his busy schedule.
