Obama bolsters staff with former Clinton campaign manager
Patti Solis Doyle, who was once one of Hillary Clinton most trusted advisers, officially joined the Obama campaign today.
Solis Doyle, who was ousted as Clinton’s campaign manager in February, will serve as the chief of staff to Obama’s yet-to-be-chosen running mate, the campaign announced.
“Today we’re adding to our leadership team so that we reach even more Americans who share the belief that people who love their country can change it,” campaign manager David Plouffe said. “These staff members bring a wealth of organizing experience to their new role, and they’ll provide key insight and direction as we continue to build our coalition.”

why would he hire such a loser!
A little Fifth Column operation, perhaps? Working for Hillary while reporting to the other fellow?
No. Hillary and Solis Doyle haven’t spoken since Hillary fired Solis Doyle. It would appear that Obama is signaling that he won’t pick Hillary for VP by announcing very early who the chief of staff wil be.
There are thoughts in the Clinton camp that Doyle, through incompetence or worse, thoroughly scrambled their campaign. Obama doesn’t need to hire Doyle to send a message. Hiring her is akin to a baseball team owner not letting a new manager have a hand in choosing his own coaches.
