Still the One

U.S. Rep. John Hall, D-Dover Plains, said once again a Republican presidential candidate is ripping off his song for use in their campaign.

Last week John McCain’s campaign started using “Still the One” without asking permission of the writers and performers who own the copyright, Hall said.

“We objected just as we did when George W. Bush did the same thing four years ago,” Hall said in an Internet plea for funding for his own campaign. “It seems like John McCain just keeps on demonstrating that he hasn’t learned from any of Bush’s mistakes.”
