With a motorcade and police motorcycles like Nita Lowey? Wish him a full recovery and a healthy, prosperous future. Hope I’m not taken as crass, but I hope too, that it’s not anywhere in NY politics.

A speedy recovery to Mr. Ryan, he’s gonna need all of his strength when he goes back to “work.”

As a frequent critic of Mr. Ryan, I wish him the most speedy, healthy recovery. And a long life.

He simply reminds me too much of Jesse Unruh (“Money is the mother’s milk of politics”). A ham-handed, self-interested, leveraging pol.

Mr. Ryan could certainly return to whatever position he held (holds) in private enterprise.

And, like Thomas Merton, or George Santayana, he could think things through from here on. The public is not interested in his well-being from the taxpayers’ trough.
