Feld hits the airwaves

July
1

Republican state Senate candidate Liz Feld hits the airwaves today with the first commercial of her campaign against incumbent Democrat Sen. Suzi Oppenheimer.

The 30-second spot, which focuses on tax relief, is airing on local cable channels.

“Westchester County has everything that anyone could ever ask for,” says Feld, the mayor of Larchmont. “But right now, Westchester is suffering from the highest tax burden in the country. Who’s sticking up for Westchester? Who’s up in Albany fighting for us? ”

The 37th State Senate district includes portions of Briarcliff Manor, Ossining, Chappaqua, New Castle, North Castle, Port Chester, White Plains, Rye, Rye Brook, Harrison, Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Scarsdale, and New Rochelle.

Looks like this is going to be a hot race.

McCain at the top could help out in this race.

ps This election is all about shoes, yes shoes do we keep them on or do we take them off and never put them on again.

    Hit the husband: hard.

And hit Ms. Oppenheimer as being the aged, ineffectual graybeard (see: Nita Lowey) that she is.
