Bush Legacy Bus Makes It To Albany

July
2

The anti-Bush movement made its way to the steps of the state Capitol today as “The Bush Legacy Bus” stopped in Albany after visits to Rochester and Syracuse on Tuesday. The visit was the ninth stop for the bus, which is organized by the pro-Democratic Americans United For Change group. The bus will make 150 stops across the country to knock Bush’s policies over the past eight years. It is headed next to Maine and New Hampshire

The 45-foot-long, bio-diesel powered bus is like a rolling museum with interactive exhibits that aims to point out failed Bush policies on the war in Iraq, health care, energy and education.

The bus is sponsored many labor groups and liberal groups, including Moveon.org, and is also aimed at helping Democratic candidates in this year’s races for the House.

You can take a virtual tour online.
