Schumer Jumps Into Endorsement Mode

schumer.jpgSen. Chuck Schumer today is endorsing Democrats Richard Dollinger and David Nachbar in two state Senate races in the Rochester area.

Dollinger is running against Republican Sen. Joseph Robach in the 56th Senate district, which runs from Rochester to Greece, while Nachbar is running against Sen. James Alesi in the 55th District, which includes some of Rochester and the eastern suburbs of Monroe County.

    Isn’t that special, too?

    I would guess Schumer will be there on Sunday, trembling before the tv cameras.

    Our senior US Senator and his Brooklyn mate Al Sharpton make quite the duo—“posing”* for the news media. Lifelong Republican (of a conservative bent) that I am, I can respect Sharpton more.
