Feld to provide forums, dessert

July

Larchmont Mayor Liz Feld, a Republican candidate for state Senate, plans to hold a series of outdoor town hall forums around the district beginning in August “to discuss the growing property tax burden on Westchester families, senior citizens and small businesses, as well as other issues important to Westchester residents. ”

Feld’s campaign says the forums — dates TBA — will be held on local weekends in parks around the district. Participants can bring their own lunch; Feld will moderate the discussion and provide dessert.

The district, currently represented by Sen. Suzi Oppenheimer, D-Mamaroneck, includes Briarcliff Manor, Ossining, Chappaqua, New Castle, North Castle, Port Chester, White Plains, Rye, Rye Brook, Harrison, Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Scarsdale, and New Rochelle.
