Hear all about it

July

So we’re launching a few new bells and whistles with Politics on the Hudson. One is the little “listen now” button you’ll see at the top of the posts. If you click on the button a computerized voice will read you the text. Or, you can use the icons under the audio player the button creates to take yourself to iTunes, where you can download a series of audio versions of our posts for your morning commute. Just another way to catch up on the news of the world — or the weird.

We’re also going to restore the government and politics news feed on the right side of the blog, and create a widget you can insert in your own sites that will pick up our news and blog feeds.

Let us know what you think!

Added: One note: It apparently takes an hour or more for the audio portion to catch up with the posted text, so be warned.
