State GOP Boss Weighs In On Obama’s Energy Plan
State GOP Chairman Joseph Mondello weighed on Barack Obama’s energy policy today, which calls for creating 5 million new jobs by investing $150 billion over the next 10 years, putting 1 million plugâ€in hybrids on the road by 2015 and getting 10 percent of the nation’s electricity from renewable sources by 2012.
Mondello said that Obama’s “ridiculous assertion that properly inflated car tires and well-tuned engines are the best answer to our nation’s energy crisis underscores just how seriously out-of-touch the freshman senator is when it comes to the very real problems facing middle-class Americans.”
He added that, “America needs to move toward energy independence with a combination of conservation, further exploration of our domestic natural resources – particularly the vast offshore oil reserves that federal law currently places off-limits to exploration – and development of new technologies like solar and wind power.
“John McCain provides a comprehensive road map to get there, while Barack Obama’s plan for energy independence doesn’t go much further than asking every American to add checking the pressure on their car tires to their daily routines.”

To sum up Obama’s energy plan as just asking Americans to keep their tires inflated and tune their cars is fairly dishonest. It’s remarks like these that keep the GOP irrelevant in NY.
As far as I’m concerned, the only Mondello worth listening to is Toots Mondello. Check out his stuff with Benny Goodman and Louis Armstrong.
Mondello and his ilk would be well-advised to concentrate on and get to work saving NY State.
You might want to ask your State representative energy conservation? How much gas, oil and electricity we could save, if we sent illegal aliens packing.
We cannot keep up the demand for it right now! Oil! Diversity Alliance for Sustainable America.(earthtimes) stated in it’s article that if the U.S. grants amnesty and gives citizenship to 12 to 30 million illegal migrants already here, as McCain, Obama and the majority of Democrats propose. That all those naturalized citizens could possibly add 120 million U.S. and foreign-born relatives to the U.S., in the next 20 years whom all will CONSUME MAJOR ENERGY. Does the American people need to escalate the 315 million plus population, the census estimates we have now? To a new total of 435 million?
The executive director of (DASA) admitted “Proposal to reduce energy costs in the U.S. will not work unless we also simultaneously curb U.S. population growth by reducing immigration and curbing teen pregnancies.” Severing the illegal immigration occupation and deporting those already here is a good start, but not the complete solution to this serious energy problem that cannot be reversed. Unless another Nikola Tesla, an underrated genius of the 19th century invents a some new form of energy, we will be reliant on fossil fuels for years to come? Clean coal, geothermal, eco-fuel, nuclear and of course wind power and solar. The latter is energy that is a perpetual source of unimaginable power that knows no bounds.
The Save Act (H.R.5088) is an enforcement federal bill only, to start the EXODUS of foreign nationals illegally in AMERICA. NUMBERSUSA has all the unsuppressed facts
With Obama it’s always I’m gonna, I’m gonna, I’m gonna. But he never tells us how he’s gonna.

yep the GOP has the answers…just look at the last eight years and their foot stomping belly aching performance in the house that is going on right now. there are 68 million acres of leased land to drill right now. we do not need more lies from the GOP about how we gotta drill off shore. same kinda bull like the reasons we had to whack iraq. enough of bush, delay, rove, frist and all the other losers and thieves. weaning ourselves from fossil fuels and weaning ourselves from bush and the destruction wrought by him and his minions in the GOP ! off with their heads ! save america now !
