Dueling tire gauges

The presidential debate over national energy policy continued today with Democrat Barack Obama accusing Republican John McCain of contradicting himself on the issue of tire inflation.

If you were on vacation or taking time out to watch another American deported on “I Survived a Japanese Game Show,’’ you may have missed the debate over the value of properly inflated tires as a way to improve gas mileage.
Here’s a video clip from a McCain event held Monday in South Dakota in which the presumptive GOP nominee indicated tire inflation won’t solve the crisis:

Here’s Obama playing gotcha’ because McCain has acknowledged the value of proper tire inflation and therefore must be some kind of hypocrite:
