Clinton will be nominated in Denver

Supporters of Hillary Rodham Clinton will be allowed to put her name into nomination at the Democratic National Convention in Denver later this month.

The move would allow Clinton supporters to have their voices heard at the convention and help with the political healing needed to build party unity.

However, there is no agreement yet on how or when Clinton would release her delegates to Barack Obama.

The Clinton and Obama campaigns issued a joint statement shortly after noon:

“Since June, Senators Obama and Clinton have been working together to ensure a Democratic victory this November. They are both committed to winning back the White House and to ensuring that the voices of all 35 million people who participated in this historic primary election are respected and heard in Denver. To honor and celebrate these voices and votes, both Senator Obama’s and Senator Clinton’s names will be placed in nomination.

”’I am convinced that honoring Senator Clinton’s historic campaign in this way will help us celebrate this defining moment in our history and bring the party together in a strong united fashion,’ said Senator Barack Obama.

“Senator Obama’s campaign encouraged Senator Clinton’s name to be placed in nomination as a show of unity and in recognition of the historic race she ran and the fact that she was the first woman to compete in all of our nation’s primary contests.

”’With every voice heard and the Party strongly united, we will elect Senator Obama President of the United States and put our nation on the path to peace and prosperity once again,’ said Senator Hillary Clinton.

“Senator Obama and Senator Clinton are looking forward to a convention unified behind Barack Obama as the Party’s nominee and to victory this fall for America.’‘

Obama is in a box…if he doesn’t allow her name to be
put in nomination he faces a rebellion and an ugly
convention..if he does allow her to do it..he faces
being upstaged by her many supporters…neither of which
makes for a united democratic party

This is a smart move for the democratic party.

Thanks to the suffragettes, women have voices and choices, and this is another victory.

Most people are totally in the dark about HOW the suffragettes won.

Now readers can discover the sexy, shocking truth of how the suffragettes did it, and it’s as easy as opening their e-mail.

“The Privilege of Voting” is a new e-mail series that follows eight great women from 1912 – 1920 to reveal ALL that happened to set the stage for women to win the vote.

Two beautiful and extremely powerful suffragettes—Alice Paul and Emmeline Pankhurst are featured, along with Edith Wharton, Isadora Duncan, Alice Roosevelt and two gorgeous presidential mistresses.

There are a LOT of hot affairs, and tons of heartache on the rocky road to the ballot box.

Ahh, Denver and the Democrats. All those Rocky Mountain highs, and with Hillary—all that “whitewater” rafting.

It’s gonna be a fun time. Can’t wait for that “Chicago ‘68 Re-Visited” segment of the convention.
