The November election depends entirely on the economy. The "angry" white liberals will vote for Obama. They are loyalists. The "passive-aggressive" white liberals will say they are voting for Obama, then-- 48 hours before the election-- they will vote for McCain, or stay home, so as to alleviate any of that white liberal guilt. However (my "out" clause): if the economy is still tanking the last week of October, and the non-phi beta kappa Bush isn't articulating gains, the non-incumbent party will win. Wouldn't matter if Alfred E. Neumann were its candidate. One way or another, this election will make for some great books after its outcome. Yes, Ed. . .she is the progeny of. . . a space alien!
