Larchmont Mayor Liz Feld, a candidate running against Suzi Oppenheimer in the state’s 37th Senate district, today launched a new television campaign airing in Westchester County. The 30-second segment focuses on the need for tax relief and bi-partisan reform in Albany.

How can Liz Feld claim she’ll lower taxes s New York State Senator when she raised taxes in Larchmont (and then declared a surlpus!) In the years when Liz was mayor, school taxes went up and up and she never said anything then. She is two-faced. She talks reform but she will just be a junior senator, having to vote with the same stagnate Republicans in the NY state senate.

A vote for Oppenheimer will make the Dems majority party (and Suzi head of the Education committee) and bring in real change. Not since 1965 have the Democrats had a chance to lead. Now’s the time.
