Powers Releases New Bio Ad

August
20

Democratic congressional candidate Jonathan Powers released a new biographical ad today in his western New York race that boasts about his military service.

Yet a sharp-eyed reader points out that it’s missing something that a biographical ad from last year had: talk of his establishment of a War Kids Relief nonprofit organization.

Powers has been criticized for the organization, and the Buffalo News had an article about how the organization was more hype than help.

So the latest ad makes no mention of the War Kids Relief program.

Powers in running in 26th District primary against Democrat Jack Davis. They are seeking to replace Republican Rep. Thomas Reynolds, R-Clarence, Erie County, who is retiring at year’s end.

Here’s the two of them to compare, starting with today’s ad.
