McCain has already told the world his view on selectins of the Top Courts. That is all he has to do.

BTW......ACU (My people) give McCain at 85% or something close to that. I will take that. McCain voting record is not all that bad

John McCain was on National TV last weekend (Obama had a slot also) with the Christian Conservatives Q&A's.

On that interview McCain solidified a number of times about his Pro-Life 25 year plus voting record in Congress. McCain also stated on that very same interview that Life started at conception!

McCain has been working overtime to solidified his Social Conservative Base for the last two weeks. That is his new game plan.

BTW I know as a fact the game plan is now being designed in Philadelphia with a Social Conservative Think Tank. McCain now understands he needs those millions of votes with the base.

If....Tom Ridge is the man it is over for McCain.

There appears to be a BIG issue brewing regarding Obama's votes as an Illinois legislator in which he did not oppose a bill that would have permitted a child born as the result of an abortion error to be killed. Ie., the abortion didn't work and the baby was born alive.

He is trying desperately to waffle his way out of this one, but it doesn't seem to be working. If this new issue is true, it means Obama did not oppose what would be infanticide. Murder. If true, this will do him in.

Rudy, Rudy, Rudy, He will deliver a "SPEECH" some calling it a "KEYNOTE" I think not.
The speech that will the real "KEYNOTE" will be Huckabee.

One named missing is Ron Paul, I know Ron is planning his "OWN" convention, but he should be speaking at the Republican Convention to.

He received more votes than Rudy, I will say it again Rudy it is time to "RETIRE", your days are over and any comeback will be your "WATERLOO"

You will notice this blog has not posted this important poll of likely voters. But this blog would publish a story about Hillary or Obama if they led by 1 percent in Guam.

The Reuters article is itself biased. It states McCain's strong turnaound is because of his "negative" ads. There are no negative ads. There are funny ads, and truthful ads, but that isn't negative.

Much of the turnaround is because the public is seeing Obama for what he is: a lightweight socialist with no credentials. But big media doesn't want to admit that.

See Michael Goodwin's very good column on Obama and the media under Opinions in today's www.nydailynews.com.

rantings of people like rush and hannity...to feature
a moderate pro choice republican like giuliani as the
keynote speaker says a lot about the libertarian streak
in John McCain...It is about time that the party stopped
cow towing to the hard right and recognized that you can
be republican on all matterss fiscal and foreign policy
and not have to be a social conservative...good for
McCain..and thats why he is going to win
