Comptroller blogging from Denver

When he’s not schmoozing in Denver this week, State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli will be sharing his thoughts on the Democratic National Convention via a blog.

DiNapoli’s blog can be accessed at www.DiNapoli2010.com (the year he’s up for reelection).

Here’s an excerpt from the blog. DiNapoli was pledged to support Hillary Clinton for president, but has some positive things to say about Barack Obama.

“As a superdelegate pledged to Hillary, I was disappointed that she didn’t win the nomination. But listening to her speak this morning, I’m ready for November.  Hillary sounded the call: It’s Obama time in America, and the New York delegation is fired up to defeat McCain and bring the curtain down on the Bush era.

“I’m looking forward to Michelle Obama’s speech tonight; should be a great start to a great week in Denver.”
