Michelle Obama Joins VP Candidate Biden Today In Denver

August
26

After her Democratic Convention speech last night, Michelle Obama will join Democratic Vice Presidential nominee, Sen. Joe Biden for his first convention appearance today as they “discuss the economic challenges facing women and families,” the campaign said.

They will be joined by women Democratic governors: Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano, Washington Gov. Chris Gregoire, and Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.

“As President, Barack is determined to change Washington so that instead of just talking about family values, we actually have policies that value families. Policies that make it easier for working parents to support, care for, and raise their children. Policies that strengthen the middle class and create new economic opportunities for women and families,” Obama said in a statement this morning.

You can read the campaign’s 12-page Blueprint for America ’s Working Women and Families here.

Here’s some of her speech from last night.
