The National Republican Senatorial Committee put out this ad this morning on Minnesota Democratic Senate candidate and comedian Al Franken, explaining why they think Franken isn’t speaking at the Democratic Convention this week.
Let’s just say it shows some of Franken’s less poised moments.

Al Franken skipped his speaking gig so he can hang out at the Minnesota State Fair. It’s ironic that the NRSC’s ad uses clips from Franken saying how shameless the right-wing can get on their attacks and a story from Paul Wellstone’s son… of course if it is cut up with booing put atop of it it sounds like something else.
