Barack Obummer and Adlai Stevenson. Stevenson had more credentials and was not nearly as far left as Obummer. But both are/were eggheads, both from Illinois, and Obummuer also will lose, though not as badly as Stevenson did twice.

James Carvillle, the snake, said it months ago. The Democrats cannot win with a voting bloc made up of college kids and other idealistic youths, liberal eggheads, and African-Americans.

I agree with Jim Kelly. Obummer may get just a three or four point bump, if that. The Dem convention has all been about the Clintons, and about trying to defend and explain Obummer, and to cover for his lack of credentials.

Hillary’s speech was 95 percent about Hillary, and just standard boilerplate rhetoric in backing Obummer. But that is not a surprise. The Clintons are always about the Clintons. Hillary wrapped herself in that “feminist” thing again, something she claimed she wasn’t going to do when she began her campaign. But who can believe a Clinton?

Biden and Pelosi, both nominally Catholics, got themselves blasted by the Church yesterday for lying about the Church’s centuries-long stance on abortion. McCain’s ads also have been hitting Obummer hard, and Obummer’s campaign is on defense during their own convention.

If Romney gets the VP slot, it’s as good as over for Obummer and the Democrats.

obama does get 6-10 points but looses it as soon as
mccain has his convention and names romney vp..then
michigan falls in line and the election is over

I am going to go on the limb here…You heard it here first.
(I will go on Statewide poetical blogs tomorrow and say this)

Obama dose not get the traditional 6 point bounce from this convention. Obama for the first time in recent political history gets no bounce at all! (OK maybe 1-2 points!)

Obama needs a lot more than the convention…because
whatever bump he gets will be dissapated by the Republican
convention which follows immediately…Obama needs
to gain the confidence of the voters in those swing states
that he will be a realiable president who shares their
values, vision and world view
