Clinton’s Speech

August
27

Reviews are coming in this morning on Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s speech at the Democratic Convention last night.

While she offered a passionate plea for unity, there’s debate about whether her supporters will listen. And was it the first speech of the next Clinton election?

Others wrote that the speech was all about her. But Obama liked the speech.

The New York Times said that Clinton’s friends say she’s in the midst of a “catharsis” and that Obama aides are eager to move on from the Clinton legacy. And Obama and Bill Clinton remain distant, and won’t be around for Obama’s speech tomorrow night.

Here’s the speech, if you missed it.
