Posted by: Joseph Spector - Posted in Uncategorized on Aug 28, 2008

Jonathan Smith, Democratic candidate for state Assembly in the 102nd District, released the first ad of the primary campaign today.

The ad, coupled with a direct-mail piece, focuses on the state’s economy and energy independence. It will run through the Hudson Valley on television through the primary.

The ad focuses on the state’s producing more cleaner energy, such as wind and solar power.

Smith faces Gary Levine in a Sept. 9 primary. The winner will face Republican incumbent Assembly Joel Miller.

The 102nd District includes the towns of Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park, LaGrange, Wappinger, Fishkill and Clinton.
