NY Conservatives like GOP VP pick

Posted by: Jay Gallagher - Posted in Uncategorized on Aug 29, 2008

New Yorkers will not be shocked to learn that the state Conservative Party isn’t worried about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s lack of foreign-policy experience.    “Sen. McCain chose a woman who has shown reform can be achieved in government and has proven so by slashing pork-barrel spending,’’ said state Conservative Party Chairman Michael Long about the GOP pick for the vice presidential nomination.

Palin, 44, elected governor in 2006, “has a proven record conservatives can be proud of,’’ Long said.

GOVERNOR SARAH PALIN of ALASKA is a female-homemaker-hunter-hockey mom who also condones the slaughter of wolves from helicopters!!! WILL THIS SANCTIONING OF KILLING WOLVES FROM ‘CHOPPERS’ AFFECT HER ABILITY TO GARNER VOTES??? This election may be more interesting than first anticipated.

IF WOLVES POSE A THREAT TO HUMANS TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG
WITH KILLING THEM FROM HELICOPTERS..ISN’T THAT THE
SAME AS THINNING OUT A HERD BUT ALLOWING HUNTING?

  3. Zyskandar A Jaimot

Hunting or not hunting wolves is one issue. ALLOWING or SANCTIONING the killing of wolves from helicopters does and should not qualify as ‘sport’!!! Should we by inference ‘thin-out’ some of the human herd also???

if wild animals..and vicious ones at that are posing
either a human hazard or an environmental hazard
it is not supposed to be sport to kill them..it
is done out of necessity …and in alaska apparently
the most efficient way to do it is from a helicopter
    I don’t get your problem with that…

I have to laugh at Jaimot, who wouldn’t know the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood, opining on how the wolf population of Alaska is dealt with to control the population.

I’d also bet Jaimot wouldn’t know Alaska the state from Baked Alaska the dessert.

on this one Jiminy..we completely agree

Perhaps the next time i go hunting – you 2 TURDS will join me!!! ALWAYS WANTED ‘TO BAG’ NOT 1 BUT 2 TURDBRAINS!!! Just fatty skin + bones no brains – back to the ‘boiling-pot for youse 2!!!

thats very clever..i guess you don’t care that a federal
judge upheld the practice in a recent decision…no
    brains you say!!

  9. Jiminy Cricket

Thank you for revealing your “intelligence,” Jaimot. You proved our point very nicely.

Here are two hints: The one wearing the red outfit with the hood on it is Little Red Riding Hood. And don’t eat Baked Alaska outdoors in the summer.

  10. Jiminy Cricket

Yep. You’re right. Your intelligence must equal “the both of youse combined.”

You’ve been watching too many old William Bendix WW II movies on Turner. PS: The Dodgers moved to L.A. starting in the ‘58 season. Ebbets Field was torn down in ‘60.
