Palin Makes Case With Zingers

September

Here’s some of the reaction to GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s speech last night, and the video of it if you missed it.

She introduced herself as “just your average hockey mom” and jump started John McCain’s final push for the White House, which starts tonight with his speech.

Palin was feisty and confident, in part because it’s quite different being governor of Alaska.

She also went off script when she joked that the only difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull is lipstick.

Al D’Amato liked the speech, and the Daily News called it “perfect premiere,” and it’s fired up conservatives.

The Obama campaign responded that “it was written by George Bush’s speechwriter and sounds exactly like the same divisive, partisan attacks we’ve heard from George Bush for the last eight years.
