Obama’s supporters on the ground in Mount Vernon

September
5

Mount Vernon Democrats will hit the streets Sunday to rally support for Barack Obama. The Democratic City Committee will staff tables throughout the city to give out information about Obama’s campaign and register new voters.

The committee is still seeking volunteers to fill table shifts of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Volunteers will meet at committee headquarters, 1 Park Ave., before the shifts begin for a brief orientation. Call 667-7300 to volunteer or for more information.
