Comments on: McCain, Obama at Ground Zero

Why would anyone think Michelle Obama would be at Ground Zero yesterday? Remember, she said wasn’t proud of America until her husband became the Democrats’ front-runner.

So, by her own words, Sept. 11, 2001 and Ground Zero would mean little to her.

From what I have seen and read, On the morning of Sept 11, 2008, President Bush was at the Pentagon Memorial Service, Senator McCain was at the Pennsylvania Memorial Service… and Senator Obama was meeting with Bill Clinton at his office in Harlem (in New York) during the World Trade Memorial Service. They then came out of their meeting and Bill Clinton AND Obama were both interviewed and they definately talked politics. (an endorsement was made and it was received by the other) Unfortunately, this display of disrespect was not reported in JN. Of course, Obama went later to be seen with McCain to lay a rose at the sight…and where was Michelle? Home in Chicago. I do not know if this sits right with me, but if the American people knew about this, I think they would be a bit concerned.

I am grateful that they left politics out of it for the day. This day is no day for political speeches,its about remembrance and respect. No matter who wins,both are honorable men

I will NEVER forget that day. (NYC Detective)

I explain to my children why they should NEVER forget so they can relay the message years from now to their children, long after I am gone.

I will never forget the destruction, lost of many, many, many lives & my friends.

The smell of death days later coming from the mountain of WTC debris as the days were warm.

The Heroes that ran into our City to help.

The Help, Love, Support, Aid & Prayers from across the Country.

I will NEVER forget.
