The state Assembly’s Ethics Committee met for more than four hours yesterday but wouldn’t reveal what was discussed. According to this story in the Albany Times Union, the short list of possible topics included a sexual harassment complaint lodged against state Assemblyman Greg Ball, R-Patterson.
Ball, who won his GOP primary battle this week, has denied the accusation that he sexually harassed a female employee.

This story was in the paper a couple of weeks ago with lots of comments. Story said this person donated to campaign and was a family friend for years and then quit working for Ball. Something must have happened for this person to do an about turn.
There are many former Ball employees who have left his employ because of similar accounts of his unethical, crass and off-the-wall behavior. Are they all involved in a conspiracy? Ball would have us think so. He sees no problem with the way he behaves. “Stalking”? It was just an ordinary breakup. (I never followed an ex to Israel.) “Sexual Harassment”? In his mind he sees nothing wrong with saying sexually inappropriate things to a 60 year old employee. “Were you sexually molested as a child”? What other elected politician talks to a constituent like this in public? “10 out of 12 facts on a campaign flyer proven to be false”? Send out the same false info over and over.
Ball has no moral values. I am surprised at how many supporters also have no moral value system (or maybe they don’t see being moral as part of leading).
Mr. Ball was invited to a Domestic Violence Forum, at the very last minute two of his aides phoned to say he would be a no show…than he was invited to a a Domestic Violence Community Coalition Task Force in the place he calls the epic center ridden with crime, again a no show…finally he was also invited to attend an upcoming event that will highlight women leaders in our community. There are five women who will be honored and recognized for Worth, Intergrity and Leadership…Mr. Ball has not complied or has he been willing to be a Presenter, like our State Senators, County Executive and the Putnam Legislative Body to include other dignitaries The final program has been printed and Greg Ball is not included for the nights events. Many emails and Press Releases went out as well asked to be part of this wonderful evening…the bottom line is Mr. Ball was probably concerned about his past coming back to haunt him, and eventually it did! This is all very clear now, as to why he did not come to any of the forums on Dometic Violence, will not be a Presenter at the Putnam County Women of Worth Awards, and did not Vote in favor of Women and the Fair Pay Act. It is obvious that Mr. Ball is not in favor of supporting Women Voters, nor does he feel that Women deserve the same pay as a women, “unless she can milk a goat better than he”! Come on Greg, your true colors are coming out more and more, you are a do nothing, no vote, not one bill passed Assemblyman and a no show, well unless you are getting you picture taken and holding a Press Conference. Women of all Parties need to know exactly where Greg Ball stands on issues when it comes to women. SO WOMEN VOTERS, put John Degnan in Office and ensure that he work in Albany, at least John follows the letter of the Law when it comes to Women’s Rights, the Fair Pay Act and the Domestic Partner Registry, which made History in such a large Republican Base, Mr.Degnan will work across the aisle to ensure that Women oneday will be held Equal in the Constitution! Mr. Ball, we are all still waiting for the mutual letter from Ms.Roth and yourself explaining your “breakup”...another misleading statement made by Greg , another no show story that will never happen as well. The Voters are not stupid, why do you think you can undermind them is beyond most WOMEN! You seem to be a legacy in your own mind sir!
Msequality, you should spread your story about Ball not attending in other ways besides this blog. Blogs are not read by that many and perhaps a womans organization could get the word out their better about Ball.

Mr. Ball has a well-documented history of intimidating those who do not agree with him. His psychological profile is such that people should be very, very afraid of him. If he runs true to form, it is only a matter of time before he begins to engage in physically injuring others, either directly or by proxy.
My years in law enforcement lead me to consider this man a personal danger to me and my family members.
The truth about his short career in the Air-Force likely has more to do with his psychiatric history and failure of routine tests than anything else. In any event, Ball has never satisfactorily explained his failure to complete his military commitment.
There are now five or six well-documented cases of Mr. Ball harassing and intimidating former girl-friend’s, associates, employees and plain ordinary citizens.
This “sexual harassment” charge is bogus. There is even admitted to proof that a worker for Ball was working with this woman to “embellish” the story and he claimed to “be working for the Senate.” Then the kid does an about face and claims he is young and naive? How convenient. The evidence this kid admitted to shows intent to conspire and possibly to commit purgery if he is placed under oath as if she continues her actions. Not to mention her entire case is “he said, she said” and cannot be proven without a witness which there isn’t.
Interesting how so many will just believe everything that is said. She had an ax to grind. She ran a blog on Yahoo that was a 24 hour Greg Ball slander fest and then right after she made the accusation she took the blog down to hide all the other slanderous stuff that was being said on there. Coincidence???
I think not. She has motive to slander him because she was upset about not continuing with his campaign. She waits 5 days before a primary to go public with this and then there is evidence that people in Ball’s office were conspiring against him.
Wake up folks. Stop listening to Mike Santos. he is not looking out for you…

As someone who claims to have years in law enforcement I am curious as to your claim that Mr. Ball has not been forthcoming about his military record. On what authority to you deserve more than he has provided?
The United States military does not just honorably Discharge individuals who are problematic or have disciplinary issues. It does not happen. Not to mention the Air Force has openly confirmed that the program Greg Ball claimed to be a part of was very active, very much a reality, and most likely his reason for discharge in the manner he described.
As the accuser, like Mike Santos and others who lie about his service, you sir bear the burden of proof in the matter. Mr. Ball has explained his situation and if that is not good enough for you or his discharge papers (which are public record and you can get them) then that is your problem. Greg does not owe you an explanation simply because you are biased as a result of the slander so casually thrown about by the likes of Mike Santos and now John Degnan.
As someone who is close personally with an individual who was discharged early from the military for the very same reason Mr. Ball was I find it quite offensive that those wish to lie about it for political gain the way Degnan does.
Other lies.
Greg ball is a stalker. Ball was never charged with “stalking”, no order of protection was ever issued, and the court could find no evidence to support the claims made in the court papers which were mutually dismissed anyway.
So Degnan’s “Stalking is illegal” campaign is a disgrace and shows just how little regard for the law he and his supports have.
Ball was Dishonorably discharged or was a deserter. Disgusting outright lies.
Where is the Putnam Fair Campaign Committee crying foul over these issues? Where is the “misleading or false” tag with regards to the bogus campaign being waged by Mike Santos when he blatantly lies to voters with his TV ads, his mailings, and his website.
More interesting is why is Degnan running his entire campaign on simply just making these wild accusations and lies? Where are his issues? What the heck does he stand for? Why can’t he win on those grounds?
He can’t and Ball’s opponents know this. They have to slander him because they hope voter ignorance scares them enough to realize not a single thing they say is true.
So be afraid sir. Be afraid of the truth and due process…
