The Marist Poll out today says Democrat Barack Obama has a 49 percent to 44 percent lead over Republican John McCain.

Twenty-eight percent of voters nationally are still undecided and say the debates—when they occur—will help them decide.

Forty-two percent of the national electorate agrees with John McCain that tomorrow night’s debate should be canceled, while 53 percent stands with Barack Obama that the debate should go on as planned.

Forty-eight percent of voters think Barack Obama will win Friday’s debate, compared to 37 percent for John McCain.
