		<description>This is just one of the many examples of how Liz Feld has mis-handled government responsibility. Because of this, Larchmont taxpayers have to pay for a fire chief ($131,000+fringe benefits and taxpayer-funded SUV) and she awarded $35,000 to to each paid firefighter (17x 35k=$595,000). There was no reason to fire the volunteer fire chief. 

But this is gov&#039;t by secret. According to the site, she kept the plan to fire him a secret until 6 days AFTER the village election. The money comes out of a contingency budget that doesn&#039;t show up in the public budget. Nice. I can only imagine (with horror) what she&#039;d do as New York State senator.</description>
