Dollinger’s New Ad

Posted by: Joseph Spector - Posted in Uncategorized on Sep 30, 2008

Democratic state Senate candidate Richard Dollinger is up with a new television ad starting Tuesday in his race against Sen. Joseph Robach, R-Greece, Monroe County.

Unlike Dollinger’s first ad, this one focuses on him rather than his opponent. Aides said that Dollinger will turn his campaign message to his platform, instead of hammering Robach as his ads have done.

This Jimmy Siegel-produced ad starts off with Dollinger saying that he believes in penalizing companies who send jobs overseas, an issue that has led to a loss of manufacturing jobs in upstate New York.

Dollinger, a former state senator for the area, also highlights his belief in a woman’s right to choose (Robach is pro-life) and how he will work for “your interests, not special interests.”

And it makes sure to end with saying Dollinger is a Democrat; the district includes most of the heavily Democratic Rochester.
