As expected, Gov. Paterson will be hosting a fundraiser for Democratic Senate candidate Richard Dollinger later this month in Rochester.

As the invite shows, next Friday morning event runs from $500 to $5,000.

While Paterson has done some fundraising for candidates, he has especially noted that he plans to help Dollinger, a former colleague in the Senate who used to sit next to each other in the chamber.

Last week, the state Democratic party shifted $84,000 from its coffers to Dollinger—money that the party said Paterson raised for Senate Democratic candidates.
