State GOP boosts Murtagh’s bid against Stewart-Cousins

Posted by: Len Maniace - Posted in 2009, 35th Senate District, Andrea Stewart-Cousins on Oct 03, 2008

The state Republican Party is throwing major financial support behind Yonkers City Councilman John Murtagh’s bid to oust state Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins in the race for the 35th state Senate District. The latest campaign contribution filings that were due today show the state Senate Republican Campaign contributed $147,571 of the $214,260 raised by Murtagh from mid-July until today. That comes on top of $140,000 in contributions from state Republicans out of the $149,545 raised by Murtagh in the previous six months, according to the state Board of Elections website.

The latest donations to Stewart-Cousins campaign had not been posted on the website by late this afternoon, but the incumbent had been raising money at a good pace, previously. She tallied $216,462 from mid-January to mid-July and began that period with $106,607 on hand. The district covers Yonkers and the towns Greenburgh and Mount Pleasant.

Lou must be vacationing in Europe. He’d never let a headline containing the name of Stewart-Cousins go by without input.

  2. santiago

Murtagh could have $500,000. and it would not help him. Cousin’s will get a great back draft from Obama and will win easily. Cousins 62% Murtagh 38%, if it’s that close. It is not a good time to be a republican in Westchester.
Palin may eliminate the back draft in middle America, but in New York, the Dem.’s may steamroll.

  3. ed1

When everyone’s paying $10,000 or more per year in school taxes, the Democrats can have the County and the State to do with as they see fit. When Wall Street leaves with us, you can spend the rest of your life “educating” each other and the 40+% of the people in this State who pay no income tax whatsoever, into oblivion.

  4. the consultant

the problem with the murtaugh district is the overwhelming
number of democrats who knee jerk vote in the town of
greenburgh…having said that Obama will not pull in yonkers
nor in mt pleasant…and there are certain parts of greenburgh that he will not do as well as expected so
it remains to be seen whether murtaugh can pull it off

  5. Bruce on the Loose

I love the commenary. When Republicans win elections, it’s always “the voice of the people”. When Democrats win, it’s “blind knee-jerk Democratic voters”.

ed1- there’s plenty of Red states that would welcome you: Utah, Mississippi, Wyoming, Texas, Oklahoma, Alaska, Alabama. Move there and have NO taxes, and be happy. Live among people who share your conservatism…no abortions, the death penalty in place, no “liberulls” to upset you.

You elected a Congress in 1994…and a Governor then, too. You kept both for 12 years. You added a conservative White House in 2000. You’ve had the State Senate all along. You’ve run Yonkers and have a strong R Mayor in White Plains. Why didn’t they make everything to your liking???

Blog on angry conservatives, blog on.

  6. ed1

The difference is that there is a much wider spectrum of tenets included in the Republican diaspora. Democrats, especially these days, seem to be one note musicians, all agreed and smugly espousing social promotion without credential, taxes, abortion, death-penalty, gay marriage, godlessness, world order, immigration, profligate welfare, income re-distribution, and on and on. Within the Republican party, you will find a wide diversity of opinion and a diaspora of open minds, but all basically agreed on the rules of law and justice combined with common sense.

Ed is quite correct..democratic voters in westchester are
liberals who have their roots in the city…they come
from long lines of unions members who think that the
bosses are corrupt…they think that republicans are
rich and corrupt..and they are not willing to entertain
the notion that business and profit are good things
they vote straight party line …thats why now that
westchester is overwhelmingly democrat by registration
it is virtually impossible to elect a republican county
wide…this will eventually change..In light of the
actions of guys like bill ryan and gary kriss..and more
will come out …in light of the big squeeze being put
on property owners in the higest taxed county IN
THE NATION ..Some democrats will understand that
too much of anything is not good..and that includes
one party governance…as we have today in the county
contrary to the suggestion of let em loose Bruce
the state is democratically controlled between the
    governor and shelly silver…the comptroller
    is a democrat..the attorney general…the county
executive..a veto proof democratic majority on the
board…etc..one or two republican mayors is irrelevant
in terms of balancing out competing political interests.
its simply not a healthy situation and that is why
it is crucial to keep the state senate in solid republican
hands..of course that is why we refer to democrats
in areas like greenburgh as “knee jerk” because they
really don’t know how to and never have voted for
anyone on the republican line…its almost genetic!

  8. yonkers

state gop is wasting its money on murtagh, cousins will carry yonkers and greenburgh.

  9. tomjo

    And that’s too bad.
Because for all that Nick Spano was, or was not, at least he did bring in money for his constituents, along with needed programs etc..
Whether or not he got cronies on the payroll or not, or did favors or not. We see that happen all the time in politics.
Once again, at least he got things accomplished in his district and in the County. Stewart-Cousins is a total do-nothing. She has only brought in dribbles to Yonkers.
She promised the moon during election time.
At first she allowed the claim that she was in the minority, what is her excuse now. She has shown no power, no leadership, nothing. And she has brought zero to her district and the county.
Knee jerk or not, wake up. Why have someone in office just to say it is someone in your party, when they are doing nothing for you.
Get her out. We don’t need a place holder for the highest taxed county in the United States. We also must hold the title of laughingstock of the United States for doing this to ourselves.

  10. Jiminy Cricket

Anyone voting for Cousins might just as well vote for either Amelia Earhart or Jimmy Hoffa.

  11. the consultant

and here is a statistic from the IRS that tells us exactly
why Obama and the democrats are wrong about who pays what
in taxes: Those earners in the top 1% pay 39.89% of all federal individual income taxes. The bottom 50% of earners pay just 2.99% of those taxes.
so, the bottom 50% pay next to nothing while the top
1% pay almost 40% of all taxes…that leaves the other
49% of taxpayers paying only 47% of the taxes paid
who is it that creates the jobs…and who does Obama
want to give tax breaks to…95% he says of all taxpayers
does that include the 50% who pay 3% of taxes?

  12. Jiminy Cricket

Many Americans in lower brackets pay no Fed income taxes. But Obama wants to send them all checks anyway, courtesy of everyone else. This is socialism. Class warfare.

And speaking of warfare, you may want to read Rich Lowry’s column under Opinions in today’s http://www.nypost.com.

The Obama camp, with actual support from some of the liberal press, has been trying to stifle free speech. Lowry lays it out, with examples.

This is the looking-glass world of Obama and much of the liberal media. It’s scary.

Somene can be against or for McCain, but this disturbing issue transcends party politics.

today Palin accused Obama of “palling around with terorists”
eg bill Ayers….that would be a little bit of a stretch..
since the times article this morning made clear that
the realtionship is extremely casual..whats more the apparent strategy is to distract from the economy
and I really can’t see the american voter buying into
that kind of character assasination…it should be done
in conjunction with a charge that Obama has the most
liberal voting record in the senate and that he lacks

judgement as demonstrated by his friends past and present

  17. Jiminy Cricket

The relationship with Ayers isn’t all THAT casual. The Times, of course, is trying to play it loose and easy about that. Regardless, if Ayers was an exception it would be one thing. But he’s not an exception. He is part of Obama’s clearly established pattern of radical associations.

Palin yesterday also said Obama is not qualified to be commander in chief because of comments he made disparaging American troops for alleged air-raids that were killing civilians in Afghanistan. I think she’s correct.

If McCain can do more than one thing at once—and he’d better—he can and will address both the economy and the other big problems with Obama.

The program on 12 was good. Lively. Interesting. I was particularly struck by L. O. Graham’s reaction to what was your truthful statement about the high-risk mortgages.

What he did was play the race card. And that is exactly what the Congressional Dems have done for years to fend off serious attempts to fix Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

  18. GOP Girl

Just to set things straight-I am going back to GOP Girl – you all just have to realize there are a lot of “GOP Girls: out there.

Greenburgh is a problem for Murtagh and his campaign knows it. And for the Greenburgh Republicans who are unhappy with the neophite running the the campaign-you know what to to do, and what should’ve done, and should be done to make Murtagh your senator-so lets get going.

If you haven’t heard, Murtagh will be on Hannity’s America this Sunday, October 5th at 9:00 p.m.

Hannity is trying to put Obama’s feet to the fire with whom Obama chooses to associate with.

  19. the consultant

yes that interplay was a bit contentious but it was not
meant as a dis to minorities who are welcome to buy
as many homes at whatever price level they can afford
From 1938 on Fannie Mae was always designed to make
housing available to ordinary americans..that was its
mission: In 1970 Jimmy Carter introduced legislation
specifically aimed at increasing lending to minorities
(again very noble) in order to stamp out racism
in the mortgage market In 1998 the Boston Fed published
CLosing the Gap a guide to equal opportunity lending” which
ORDERED BANKS to not consider lack of credit history
as a negative..once this horse was out of the barn
lending took off to both whites and blacks who were un
qualified..but the impetus was to level the playing
field for minorites…unfortunately in 30 seconds that
    is difficult to convey

  20. Jiminy Cricket

What you said on the program and here is correct, Consultant. But Graham did what the Dems usually do when this subject comes up. They play the race card in an attempt to portray anyone who speaks the truth as a bigot. It’s that long-standing activist kind of strategy to keep crtics on the defensive.

Regarding GOP Girl’s comment that Murtagh will be on tonight’s Sean Hannity’s Fox News special about Ayers and others in Obama’s world—readers might be interested in what could be a very meaningful article recently written in NewsMax about Obama, Harvard, Percy Sutton, the Panthers and the Black Muslims. Those dots might connect in a significant way.

Google search terms: “Timmerman” + Obama + Harvard.

Jiminy read the front page of the new york times
which gives a complete account of what happened
at Fanny Mae and they say exactly the same thing
that loans to unqualified people in an effort
to encourage home ownership among minorities and
other low income people was the culprit

  22. the consultant

by the way it is not bigotry to say that loan standards
were loosened in order to BENEFIT minorities..it was the governments policy and Fannie simply followed along pressuring its employees to make loans that wouldn’t otherwise have been made..don’t forget that the minorities
who received those loans were actually taken advantage
of as they are the ones now defaulting along with other
low income non qualified borrowers..so not to have
instituted that policy would have saved the minority
borrowers from losing a home getting displaced and otherwise
having their lives interrupted..its a knock on the government lenders not the borrowers

  23. Jiminy Cricket

Consultant…you were correct. You don’t have to defend yourself for being correct.

I read that Times story. It deliberately low-keys the big roles the Dems in Congress played and tries to shift the blame elsewhere. Specifically, Barney Frank gets about one sentence. Dodd and Schumer and others aren’t even mentioned. I think that, for all the other valid info it contains, it’s mostly a disingenuous and misleading story by the Times, as usual.

Today is a football Sunday. So, until Hannity does his Ayers and other radical Obama ties program tonight, that’s it from here because in the Fall the NFL owns Sunday, at least in my corner of Alaska. :)

Consultant – a few questions from my friends – even though you say this has no part in the elections? and you say it’s false-but there are the court papers:

“Can B. Hussein Obama produce a United States birth certificate? if so, did he relinquish his citizenship when his stepfather enrolled him into a Muslim school, (yes it was a madrasa,) in Jakarta, Indonesia? the reply poster is merely parroting media statistics of partisan polls. (i.e, inaccurate and biased polls.)”

  28. SR

Obama’s citizenship was called into question months ago and it was bogus. Hawaiian officials have confirmed his birth certificate. A Hillary supporter is trying to sue Obama which is what this is about most likely but nothing will come of it. The folks who wrote “supposedly” credible examinations of his BC and claimed it was a forgery were complete hacks. They had no identity, were working with faulty evidence, and have since disappeared. However some NASA and Private Investigators did investigate and proved the “so-called” science false. Also Hawaii stepped in and confirmed it. It’s a dead issue unless something else is out there that has not been reported on.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Barack Obama attracting 52% of the vote while John McCain earns 44%. This is the highest level of support ever recorded for Obama and is his largest lead of the year. It also continues a remarkable twenty-five days in a row where the Democrat’s support has never declined by even a single point. The Democratic candidate has gained six full percentage points of support since Lehman Brothers collapsed to start the Wall Street mess
THIS UNFORTUNATELY WILL NEGATIVELY EFFECT ALL STATE
    SENATE RACES IN NEW YORK

  32. Jiminy Cricket

Sean Hannity’s special hour on Obama and his radical associates aired last night. Hannity covered a lot of ground in the progam. More needs to be done, but he certainly opened the door. It was a meaningful show.

Ironically, a story I suggested above was one basis for Part One. Search terms—“Timmerman” + Obama + Harvard.

On the net, the Hannity program itself can be seen by way of the Google search terms “Hannity” + Obama and friends + YouTube. There are six segments to the program. After the first, you should see prompts to continue to Part 2, etc.

John Murtagh appeared briefly to discuss the Weather Underground’s firebombing of his family’s home in 1970.

Murtagh’s father was a judge who then was presiding over a Black Panther trial. There was an alliance between the Panthers and the Weather Underground of William Ayers. That is an important point to remember in terms of current matters relating back to Chicago.

  33. Jiminy Cricket

Consultant…Pointing out FACTS about Obama, as the McCain camp is now doing, is not negative. It is is factual. The American people should be made aware of those facts. Most of the press has tried to ignore them.

The Democrats are trying to spin it their way. But wasn’t it Obama himself who recently said a president or presidential candidate should be able to handle more than one thing at a time? Yes, it was.

So, McCain can try to get across his economic program while at the same time pointing out facts about Obama’s radical past, including the recent past.

The ever-biased AP put out a story last night trying to claim the Palin-McCain comments about Obama and Ayers, etc. are RACIST. That is standard AP and Dem party tactics, playing the race card without any facts to justify that stance. I think that is desperate. Obama is very vulnerable on the “radical” subject. McCain and Palin should keep hitting on it, while also addressing the economy, foreign policy and national security.

in a time of global financial turmoil voters aren’t interested in anything but who is going to throw them
a lifeline…they don’t care about what ayeres may have
done 35 years ago unless he is a close confident of
obama which he is not..nor do they care about
the reverend of Obama’s church unless he still goes
there which he does not..they care only about their
own personal financial rescue…that is what mccain
needs to focus on…MCain has to ressurect McCain
as the person to rely on in crisis..not his young
    inexperienced opponent

  35. Jiminy Cricket

Consultant….You are not coming to this with any real foundation of knowledge about all those Obama ties. I respectfully suggest you look into them before opining. They are not “old news.” And there is much more to all of it than only Ayers and Wright.

McCain can focus on the economy, Obama’s radical connections, foreign policy and national security. Four points, and all are very valid. I do not disagree about the economy. But I do believe all four of those areas can and should be addressed in the next month.

  36. Jiminy Cricket

The Obama campaign has contributed some $800,000 to ACORN’s political action wing, or subsidiary. It is called Citizens Services, Inc. ACORN is as radical a group as there is. ACORN also is enmeshed in the subprime mortgages mess.

In the past, Obama had worked as a lawyer for ACORN. And his campaign’s very large current contribution shows those ties still exist and are still strong.

    That’s a start, Consultant.

  37. the consultant

as a political strategist I believe that to win a presidential election in times like these you need to establish no doubt that you have the ability to lead
the nation..simply pointing out your opponents weaknesses
doesn’t do it..and by the way Obama has released a
statement regarding McCains involvement in the Keating
Five..so they are both taking the gloves off except
that as regards McCain the savings and loan debacle is
too close to the current problem..he would have been
much better off not going there

  38. SR

The GOP will not expose ACORN even if anything is wrong because it will draw attention to their own Right Wing PAC groups and possible illegal activities going on in those.

  39. ed1

The old enigma trapped in a conundrum, wrapped in a paradox, tied with the strings of irony and covered with secret sauce. The fact is that, despite everyone’s sincerely held political beliefs, (left and right,) greed and self-aggrandizement always prevails. It is, generally speaking, the way of the world. That we, as a species, don’t acknowledge this, prevents the possibility of correction. That we know we are capable of better does not change this basic truism. If there is a heaven, we will still shoulder and push to get the real estate with the best view. Still, and thankfully, there are always a numerous few who, while kicked to the gutter, still look to the stars.

  40. Jiminy Cricket

To make a point I will use an analogy. If Fidel Castro was running for president about 50 years ago, romising “change” and saying he would fix everything, should his radical leanings and connections have been ignored? Or should they have been a significant part of that theoretical campaign?

Also, Obama is up to his next in the current situation, through ACORN, and also through the fact that he and Chris Dodd have been the two biggest beneficiaries of contributions from Countrywide and Fannie Mae-Freddie Mac.

  41. SR

Again jiminy to bring you back down, many members of the GOP are beneficiaries of those organizations. McCain receives contributions from Fannie Mae as well. Also note that many of the donations are from employees, not the company as a whole so it is hard to consider them influence buying. I give money to political campaigns from time to time but those donations are not reflective of my company.

However you are correct that Fannie Mae does give to Dodd and Obama at a greater rate. This does buy influence because they know the votes they are getting from such organizations.

The problem is that the GOP is not removed from such conflicts of interest. For instance the GOP has controlled the House and Senate for 10 of the past 12 years and has had the Presidency for 8. Why were the Dems allowed to so freely corrupt under the watchful eye of the Deregulating GOP?

More interestingly is that McCain, like Obama, preaches “Change” yet how does he back that up when he has been working for the past 8 years to support business as usual?

You cannot tear Obama down by these standards without trashing McCain. The problem in Washington is the complete dysfunction of the two parties. Look closely at Obama’s and McCain’s issues. They are both identical with small tweaks sold as “major fundamental differences.” Thats a lie. Foriegn and Economic policy is practically the same. So insulting Obama is the same as insulting McCain. Just because McCain has an R next to his name does not make him any more trustworthy especially since he and Palin have just as much dirty laundry in their closets as Obama does.

McCain swore to run a clean campaign on issues that matter to the American public. The problem is he cannot differentiate himself enough from Obama on those issues. This Bailout is severe mud on his face right now and the selection of Palin is a major gaffe. So his only option is to lash out at Obama in hopes of getting something to stick. this is the same strategy that was waged by his own party against him in 1999 and it succeeded. Clearly John either has no long term memory or his personal ambition is so great he is willing to sell out to get the ultimate prize.

But those who are informed know his campaign is full of smokescreens just like Obama’s. Those who love the bad associations of Obama are already voting for McCain. Will this resonate with the middle though? Unlikely.

Clinton was full of bad associations and problems but was re-elected and the same with Bush. The American public does not pay enough attention to the bigger picture because who the heck has time to?

McCains latest campaign strategy is another desperate attempt by a failing group. Had he kept his nose clean maybe he would have a better chance but I seriously think it’s going to take some major maneuvering to pull this off and I have little confidence in him to achieve it. There is too much ammo for Obama.

    The Keating 5
Dumping his disabled ex-wife for an upgrade.
His abysmal voting record which is ironic considering his pledge of change.
Palin’s legal problems and radical associations.
His 23 million in campaign donations from the financial sector are only 2 mil behind Obama.
His campaign manager was a paid lobbyist of Fannie Mae for almost a decade.
    etc, etc, etc…

  42. the consultant

this is an extremely troubling indication of how far
sean hannity wants to go to keep Obama out of the white house:
So then, I’d guess, it would be appropriate to bring up some of the nuttiness that passes for godliness in Palin’s religious life. Leave aside the fact that The Embarracuda allowed herself to participate in a cermony that protected her from witchcraft, how about her presence-she didn’t “get up and leave”- at a sermon by the founder of Jews for Jesus, who argued that the Palestinian terrorist acts against Israel were God’s “judgment” on the Jews because they hadn’t accepted Jesus.

Speaking of Jews, the ever-execrable Sean Hannity has been having intercourse with a known Jew-hater named Andy Martin, who now wants to expose Barack Obama as a Muslim. According to the Washington Times:

In 1986, when Mr. Martin ran as a Democrat for Connecticut’s 3rd Congressional District seat under the name “Anthony R. Martin-Trigona,” his campaign committee filed papers saying its purpose was to “exterminate Jew power in America and impeach U.S. District Court of Appeals judges in New York City.”

  43. Jiminy Cricket

Hannity has to be careful. Agreed. But his program last night touched a lot of valid bases.

You can not seriously compare Palin and religion to America haters and bigots like Wright and his close pal Farrakhan, can you, Consultant? If so, you might want to re-think that one.

There also is an AP wire story right now in which at least one retired Israeli general and two former Mossad officials say they were duped under false pretenses into appearing in what is actually a pro-Obama video aimed at American Jews. That story can be seen on http://www.ynetnews.com.

SR, if you are a Nader supporter, as you say you are, then you naturally will want to cast stones at both sides.

  44. the consultant

I believe in frontal assaults not back door insinuations
by people like this guy martin who is clearly a jew hater
( or for that matter by anyone who hates anyone because
of religion)..being a secular not a practicing jew I am
nevertheless aware that there are still jerks who think
that jews should be eliminated.fortunately our christian
friends have always stepped up to the plate)...but in
any event ..frontal assault means…McCain has to say
Obama had a reverend who said god damn america
Obama has a friend who blew up buildings and wishes
    he had done more
Obama took money from freddie and fannie, the 2nd highest
    recipient in the senate
Obama has said he will sit down unconditionally with
    “I’m a dinner jacket”
Obama got his house from indicted tony rezko
these are not out of bounds issues..and the more
MCcain abdicates this function to Krystol the shill
and Palin, and Hannity the more he takes the risk
of it coming back to bit him as it has with the use
    of martin..
McCain also needs to name right now and economic czar
maybe Mitt..maybe someone else whose job it will be
    to clear the credit crunch…
clearly he is uncomfortable doing any of this because
McCain is at heart a gentleman…but to win you have
to be tough…and you have to be convincing…
once again had he chosen mitt and not sarah…he
would be in an entirely different place because
michigan would have been his …that is 26 electoral
votes 13 that obama wouldn’t have and 13 that mccain
would have..as of today he appears not to have
a good grasp of what has to be done…and using the
ayers argument alone allows the obama camp to use
the keating five….considering the election is
about transparency in the markets not exactly where
    mccain should be

  45. Jiminy Cricket

Consultant…We both believed Romney would have been the better choice. But I could see why McCain chose Palin.

I am not familiar with Martin, but it sounds like Hannity should stay away from him.

Obama is now on the defensive. And that’s good. Obama is trying to change the subject.

I agree with your other comments. But I’d add this. Percy Sutton was Malcolm X’s lawyer and Sutton also was close to Khalid al-Mansour, who is not a nice guy.

Sutton recently said that years ago al-Mansour was trying to raise money for Obama’s schooling and also was looking for people to recommend Obama to Harvard Law. Obama has been doing all he can to keep info about his college and Harvard Law years secret. That’s a fact.

Khalid al-Mansour was involved with the Nation of Islam, and also had ties to the Black Panthers. So, start connecting dots, if you wish to. There are plenty to connect.

There was a claim that Sutton later denied this statement, but he actually did not deny it. The Sutton statement is on video, I believe.

yonkers you are a jerk..my practice is irrelevant
    my net worth is

  48. the consultant

Jiminy ..your comment are below the radar of the average
voter..McCain needs to appeal to the average voter and
he has only 27 days left to do that so we can
argue about al.Mansour all you like but the mainstream
american voter is worried about his or her 401k

  49. Jiminy Cricket

Consultant…You, yourself in your comment above called for frontal assaults about Wright, Ayers and others. All I did was add the important al-Mansour connection to that list.

All that can be done, and McCain can address the economy, foreign policy and national security too in the four weeks remaining. He has Obama back on his heels now about Ayers and also about Wright. I say “Keep it up,” and add in the other elements as well, including al-Mansour.

If Ayers was an isolated event it would be one thing. But Ayers is part of a disturbing pattern with Obama. Voters need to know all those facts, in my opinion. And they need to know it all is part of an Obama pattern.

    Jiminy,

The consultant decided that the McCain/Palin ticket was DOA when the announcement was made.

While most of us would have chosen Romney (as we have said in many different posts) it is time stop spinning our wheels, cut the consultant-like bloggers loose (i.e. not respond) and focus our time and attention on getting McCain elected.

Wasted minutes are wasted minutes are wasted hours and wasted days. IMHO

  51. the consultant

    unfortunately the numbers dont lie….

  52. Jiminy Cricket

Consultant…As Yogi Berra said, “It ain’t over till it’s over.” McCain and Palin hit hard today. GOOD.

GOP Girl…I think you’re right. I believe the Consultant would not mind seeing McCain-Palin lose so he could strut about saying “I told you so.”

That’s what so many of those elitist, country club Republicans are like.

  53. Jiminy Cricket

PS: Consultant, if al-Mansour is below the radar, whose fault is that? Is it the fault of the media? Yes. I also don’t see you researching facts about these important Obama connections. You’d rather complain about Sarah Palin.

So blame yourself while you are at it.

Again the sword is double edged. Who I support Jiminy means nothing.

If McCain calls on Rev. Wright again then enter Ed Kalnins.

A man who cried that everyone who voted for John Kerry will burn in Hell. Who cried that critics of George Bush are working against God. That 9/11 was a test from Jesus Christ. A man that exercised Witchcraft from Palin herself. A man who told a man on the golf course his wife was going to leave him and that it wasn’t his fault.

Ed Kalnins also believes that End Times are here right now and that Alaska is going to be a refuge for people.

Whats interesting about this guy is his messages as well as his church’s message is evident in many of Palin’s speeches.

She claimed that the war in Iraq was doing “God’s will.” and that the 40 billion oil pipeline is a “gift from God” because he wants us to have those resources.

In Palin’s corner is a pastor who has clearly influenced her political agenda far greater than Wright has on Obama.

But reality is that if Wright damages Obama then Kalnins damages Palin.

You cannot hold Obama to a certain standard and then turn the other cheek with McCain/Palin which you clearly are doing on every issue.

It seems you just want Obama to lose more than you want McCain to win.

And it doesn’t surprise me at all that Hannity is working with a radical to slander Obama. Thats his deal. He has no journalistic integrity and even he hates McCain. It took Palin to bring Hannity around. he called the VP debate a knockdown by Palin and also claimed that the Dems ae in retreat even though the polls are still strong for Obama. he is biased and a 24 hour campaign for the GOP no matter how bad they end up being. He is not fair and balanced. he is in the tank for whoever is on the GOP ticket. He takes Reagan’s 11th Commandment far too serious and applies double standards better than even you.

I am sorry I am a Conservative and Hannity in no way reports to me. He is a fraud just like Limbaugh.
