October
6

Some additional campaign finance reports showed up today.

Sen. Jeff Klein, D-Bronx, has $755,985 on hand, the most of any Senate Democrat. That’s not much of a surprise, considering he is leading the Democrats bid to control the Senate.

But Klein is also helping the Working Families Party, who is working for a Democratic Senate takeover, the records showed. He transferred $125,000 to the party in late September.

Other senators’ new filings include:
—Sen. William Larkin, R-New Windsor, who raised $87,010, spent $35,106 and had $403,418 on hand.
—Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins, D-Yonkers, who raised$53,145, spent $64,882 and had $168,727.67 in the bank.
—Sen. George Maziarz, R-Newfane, Niagara County, who raised$21,431, spent $67,582 and had $756,520 on hand.

So overall, Senate Republicans and its candidates raised $6.3 million since July, spent $6.4 million and collectively have $12.5 million on hand.

Senate Democrats and its candidates raised $3.3 million, spent $3.1 million and have $6 million on hand.
