Do you get your news from the wire or directly from Skelos's office? Oppenheimer is in the minority party. So any whining about how high our taxes are should go to the Republican/ Conservatives, who've been screwing us for years because we've become a Democratic district. Despite that, Oppenheimer has been bringing back money as best she can, through STAR and $200 million in aid to our schools. We are actually the highest recipients of STAR in the state, thanks to Suzi Oppenheimer. It must kill this paper to write nice things about Oppenheimer.
