The Yonkers Federation of Teachers will announce its endorsements of candidates for the state legislature tomorrow at a 3 p.m. press conference at the main entrance to Roosevelt High School. The union will endorse state Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins and assemblymen Richard Brodsky and J. Gary Pretlow. The high school is located at the corner of Tuckahoe Road and Central Park Avenue.

What a surprise. Three bozos whose only answer to any problem is to raise taxes.
The teachers unions in this state coupled with some problems in NCLB are a major problem with our education system. They need to step back and allow some serious reforms to our system. Unions are a good idea but these groups no longer function as they were intended.
The YFT is the main reason yonkers is bankrupt. Both financially and mentally.
